Another hot day...

Yesterday out of the blue I had a phone call from our U3A chair asking if I was free for a coffee in 10 minutes time. I was so headed for my favourite coffee place The Terrace. Apparently a bit of a cabinet re-shuffle this morning and I was suggested as Assistant Treasurer which I was happy to agree to... so I now have to become familiar with more aspects of the U3A administration system; Beacon. That’s right up my street and will keep me safely out of the sun so that’s fine by me.
So after sorting a heap of clothes for the charity bin for the local hospice I headed off for a quick photograph near the bin then up to the Old Quarter for eyebrow wax and tint and back to a coffee and study the Beacon System.
