Not the Blood Moon!

(27th July backblip)

Headed off to visit Son, D-in-L & Granddaughters today ....... but what a journey!

The Sat nav estimated the journey at about 2 & half hours ....... yeah right! It took almost 4 hours! What with roadworks & traffic, getting held up behind a slow moving crane lorry for several miles ...... 40mph on a 60mph road ....... then ending up driving into the centre of town at rush hour instead of missing it as we had planned!

It was sooooo hot too ....... it was about 33c ..... we were melted by the time we arrived! Still it was great to see them :-)

I had intended on blipping the Blood Moon (lunar eclipse) ...... but the storm arrived & didn't pass until the eclipse was over! Typical! So you get the rain bouncing of Son's car ...... at least the car is red!
