The season proper started today and the blip shows the first action as Spennymoor kicked off against Chester. A goalless draw was not completely unexpected although I predicted defeat. The game wasn't too bad and there were some encouraging signs but a draw was a fair result. After one game we are 13th in the table and I suspect that is close to where we will finish.
