Through the Venetian blinds

The blinds have been heavily used this year as we get a lot of sun on the back of the house.  We did a few jobs in the garden this morning before it got too hot.  As several of you point out, we are not home long enough to do all the jobs!  We have had a few weeks at home now and have got round to a few little jobs long overdue.  A bit of cutting back, sweeping up, sorting out the plant pots and plants, sweeping out and hosing down the gazebo etc.  These tasks necessitated walking up and down the lawn a few times and in spite of the odd shower this week, it is still incredibly dry and spiky.  I find it quite interesting to see which grasses are growing longer and seedier.

We have also made use of the patio furniture and brolly as you can see!
