Cat and Mouse

I don't think this little mouse realised what mortal danger it was in, sitting so close to Lily, the killer cat. Of course, she has been the one who brought it into the garden and dumped it on this wooden step, promptly losing all interest in the poor  little chap. I watched over it, willing it to run to safety until he eventually crept under the step out of harms way. 

I finished 'Little Fires, Everywhere' and loved it. Now deciding what to read next.
