Helsington Barrows

After a week of racing round the forests I persuaded son R to accompany me on a gentle (for him) walk around Helsington Barrows.  My ulterior motive was to get him to climb some trees for me that had geocaches hiding up high. There was no way I was ever going to climb the trees to retrieve them. I love walking up there. There are very few people,  wonderful views, the cobwebs get blown away and I always come back home feeling better. We saw one person today.
