A herd of cows

We were out with our walking group today walking Stage 3 of the Heartland Way, 10.5 miles in 4.5 hours walking. First we came across 4 horses in a field who had their blindfolds on but had a bit more interest in us than I was comfortable with. Next, it was a field of cows, 2 bulls, many cows and lots of calves. We disturbed them as they were sheltering in the shade and they came out bellowing loudly, the most intimidated I have felt with cows. I don’t usually have a problem. Thankfully, nobody had a dog.
