At "The Palace"

It was a lovely day for me (Annie). I had a trip to London with my stepmum Anne and neighbour Pat, to go visit Buckingham Palace. The state rooms were open to the public, and we had tickets. Amazing, amazing rooms - so much sparkle.

After the house, we had a booked tour of the private gardens. Amazing oasis of calm in the middle of London - and so many beautiful plants.

Lots of walking, a lovely lunch, great company and so fun to be in a building you don't normally get to visit. No cameras allowed in the house or private gardens, so this is a quick iPhone shot from the public bit of the gardens.
