What A Day

My monthly Friday walk with my good friend and ex colleague Jon.

Today we caught the bus to Penryn Bridge and then walked to Flushing. Lunch at the Waterside restaurant preceded continuing round to Flushing Point which is opposite Falmouth Docks.

The ferry over to Prince of Wales Pier enabled Isted to continue walking, through the town and out to Pendennis Point where we met Clare and enjoyed an iced coffee at the Ahoy Cafe. I thoroughly enjoy these walks, 9.5 miles today at a leisurely pace in great company.
With the walk over it was home for dinner not long after arriving home Joshua phoned requesting a short term loan to buy his first car - no problem - once purchased he had to wait until midnight to purchase insurance. It’s all to do with being under 18 and having a £500 daily limit on his bank account it appears you can join the Military, drive a car etc but not move to an adult bank account - such is life.

His first car, our youngest has come a long away.

Sam had a little trauma today, fired from her summer job, irrespective of which way they choose to dress it up little or no training and inadequate supervision does not make it Sam's fault.

Our eldest continues along lifes learning curve.
