Diagonal

Today's composition prompt was diagonal.  

We went for a walk down on the trail by the creek - it is officially closed but we went anyway.  WOW - the extra is my husband pointing to where the mud shows the height of the water.  

The trail is full of sand - except for the places where the trail is dumping into the creek - There are places where things are swept clean - and some where the trash is trapped and mud is deposited.  Quite a scene.

Later I took my son clothes shopping for school.  He has grown two sizes this summer.  It was crowded because it is tax-free back to school weekend - but we were able to find what we needed.  I am tired but pleased.
