What a grey day

I went out for a no camera, binoculars only walk today - so this is a phone camera shot half way round a regular walk ( I am glad I bought the phone though I do hardly use it)

I couldn't help thinking of two previous times I have taken roughly the same shot in recent years. One was in snow with the fencing making the shot something extra special and the other was with Swallows flying low across the brook ( I clung to that one when plodding on through the mud!)

It was such a grey day that I never even got the camera out of the boot of the car in the afternoon either - I'm going to have to fight these negative thoughts and search for a photo to lift the spirits tomorrow.
