Diwali

At our Monday group which could be Science/Art/Nature depending on what date it is! (It was Art this week) We decided to make candle holders for Diwali. They are not the traditional shape or even the same material as the traditional ones, but we were improvising. I bought us each a GU pudding (result!) and once we had eaten the contents we washed the glass dishes and used pens to decorate. This photos was the end result. We coloured in lots of pictures and made a book of them each with the story of Diwali for each of the boys.
