Georgetown, Colorado

Our Road Scholar tour took us to this small mining town, where we had lunch and strolled the main street with its many Victorian-era facades.

We had our first steam train excursion, along with many other folks enjoying the superb summer weather.

Sunday will be another early start —board the tour bus at 7:30a.m. so we arrive at the Garden of the Gods when the light is optimal for photography. I’ll try to write more tomorrow...
