Train Wreck

We were up early and off to Whistler by nine o’clock. Arrived at Function Junction and took a hike into the woods to see the train wreck. We walked over another suspension bridge and then down by the river. Next, we went to a great bakery for lunch - delicious! Mr Q ordered a slice of chocolate brioche which was so big that we decided to take it home for pudding after dinner.

We drove up to Whistler and eventually got a parking space (thanks to the determination of our driver!!), and then explored the village. We were very impressed.

We drove home to find that it was time for a drink and a rest. Stuart made the most fabulous lamb curry for us with all the trimmings.

After dinner we sat outside and enjoyed the scent of the brugmansias which was impressive.

It’s been another fabulous day.
