Haulzhofen?

This woodpile is located next to a pretty sharp hill on my cycle route to Elgun so I've admired it several times without being able to stop. This time I was climbing the hill with the boys and little one was struggling so we got off for a rest and a picture. I believe this conical structure is called Haulzhofen. Does anyone know any more?
