Something blue..
My wife and I married 120 days ago. When we 'met' 6 and a half years ago online we clicked straightaway, I mean, we really clicked. To the point I would look around the room, in the middle of our online conversations, for Jeremy Beadle. Couldn't believe that one could meet someone so perfect, felt it must be some kind of windup.
So to more recent times. I proposed last summer to my wife to be on the south coast as a surprise for her 50th. She had no clue it was coming whereas gathered family were all in the know. To say she was blown away was an understatement, over the moon she was. I've never seen her look so happy, mission accomplished I think!
Wedding plans got into full swing for our special day, I wanted to surprise her with a 'something blue' but wasn't taken with the blue garter type things, and came across this, it's swarovkski elements blue crystal, and an angel.
The day before Christmas eve last year, a lump was found, brought us back to earth with a bump. So after surgery and before the start of Chemo,we were married. Without doubt the best day of our lives. She still clips this 'blue angel' to her bra every day, I think it keeps her 'safe' through the ongoing chemo, well that's my take on it. We take each day as it comes, with a positive mind set, together.
