Mount Stuart

Today we visited one of those Stately Homes that has remained intact by becoming a place for Weddings and 'events'. 

They are presently showing off some modern art by Christine Boreland. 

This is apparently a 'fruiting body'. It is made of parachute silk and sphagnum moss. Okaaaayy. 

The house itself is wonderful, the grounds are lovely, the coffee excellent and we had a very pleasant day see what people with real money spent it on.
