What a day!!!!!
I am officially puggled. Exhausted. Cream-Crackered. Knackered.
First thing this morning, I went to my first puppy obedience class ever. It was a shock to the system. There were five other dogs and some of them were barking. I hid under my owner's chair and was sick. Otherwise it went fairly well and I learned how to eat lots and lots of treats. Oh, and how to sit.
Not long after I'd got home, a family came to visit. That's all good; I like people. But they brought a dog with them. A big brown dog with lots of hair. I wasn't sure which was its head or tail but it seemed very eager to sniff me. I growled at bit (not sure where that came from), and then put my tail between my legs and ran to my owner. I was not a happy puppy.
Then, to add to my stress levels, I was made to go on a walk with this other dog. It was allowed to chase a ball and it kept running past me really fast. I don't know if I could have put my tail further under my bum, but I tried. Of course, there were other dogs on this walk, and they were always with other people. I was so confused; I desperately wanted to wag my tail at the people, but had to keep my tail between my legs for the other dogs. Maybe I'll work out how to do both, a bit like Chris Froome on a descent in the TdF when he is both crouching and pedalling simultaneously (I've watched a lot of the TdF recently).
Thankfully the visiting dog (and family) left when we got back to my garden and I've been able to enjoy my family to myself.
