Common Blue Damselfly

We've had a very quiet day, it seems to have been hotter than ever.  I caught the sun yesterday and although compared to many people I'm still pale, for me I definitely feel as if I've got a a tan.  

We went out for lunch and then I walked along the canal, and even though it was hot there were a few people out walking. I didn't have to look hard for a blip subject the Damselflies were much in evidence and I always enjoy seeing their fragile beauty.
