Natural fractal

My cone flowers are finally starting to look a bit better (probably due to the constant watering every night) and I thought I'd better try to capture the intricate pattern of their hearts, a natural fractal, while they are like this. Isn't that an almost dizzying pattern ?

This coming Thursday I'd like to see more eye-twisters for Abstract Thursday, so 'fractals' is the optional theme and the tag will be AT163.
