Weekend at the Edinburgh fringe ended with a late night in the Canny Man, and a discussion with another festival goer about how people should all be here to see the opera and shun the profane comedians. I didn’t mention that I had almost exclusively seen profane comedians so far, and had never seen an opera in my life.
