Spider Blip Snap

Long story - this is the short version.

I was really determined to blip an ant today but after 2 hours and literally hundreds of discarded images it didn't happen (sorry Hilly). Only 2 images were even mildly blippable, and I was just at the end of the latest frustrating safari, when this spider literally flew across my vision. And who wouldn't want to blip a beautiful spider with green legs. He lives on an echium, which is predominantly green.

The blip snap comes from the Rower who is also blipping a flower spider today. His is approximately 1/4 the size of mine, and the colours are quite different, because his spider lives on a lavender flower. The camouflage colours of these little flower spiders never ceases to amaze me.
