Beesy
We got out of the house a bit early this morning to take a walk down at the park by the lake, before it was overrun with partiers! This weekend is Seafaire and that means very loud jets and hydroplane boats. Even though all the action is down the south end of Lake Washington, dozens of boaters put their boats in at the dock up here, and hang out and enjoy the water until it's time to head south to get in position to view the airshow.
I was over there at noon yesterday and I could hear the hydroplane boats from there. While I was there, several ospreys were flying overhead and chirping their lungs out. I wonder if they were disturbed by all the activity.
Anyway, they have the Blue Angels fly over, and there's an F-18 (my personal favorite), etc... We don't get in the traffic to get closer in order to see them anymore. I can't tolerate crowds at all anymore.
We stuffed our faces with ripe blackberries though. There are so many of them, had to stop. On the way around, we wandered through the p-patch again and I took some flower/bee photos. This was my favorite of a busy bee (beesy).
