Family

Went up the allotment early-ish and grubbed about - sowed a few more seeds, more in hope than expectation. Well, at least the radishes will come up as they always do. Woman cannot live on radishes alone, however.

Had to go across town to Summerhall to meet up with Q and family who were doing a bit of festival visiting. Took an hour to traverse the 3 miles or so by bus, due to gridlocked traffic, vast crowds, huge numbers of folk getting on bus to make detailed enquiries then getting off again.....

When I was waiting on the Shore for the first bus I noticed that family goosander were dozing on their favourite flotsam - mama and three very large teenagers.
