Deep Clean
My Dear Fellows & Dear Princess,
Poor Cazza had a "deep cleanse" of her teeth today. The dental hygienist told her that a clean at the dentist wasn't good enough and sent her along to the periodontist.
I went along to collect her at 5pm. She looked very wobbly and shocked. Remembering my horrific dental experience last year, I got her home as quickly as I could and settled her down on the couch with quiet murder mystery programmes.
It did the trick. She had a big nap, and woke up feeling better. But still, I made only soft things for tea and told her not to talk, just to point at things when she needs stuff.
It is eerily quiet.
She is going back next week to do the other side of her mouth and have a wisdom tooth removed. I'm thinking tins of baked beans or soup for dinner that night.
We've started watching "Dark Tourist" on Netflix, it is really very interesting. It features Kiwi journalist David Farrier exploring the growing world of "dark tourism". Tonight he's in Japan touring the Fujiyama disaster zone with a bunch of tourists taking selfies with one hand and checking their geiger counters with the other. Then he went to the haunted suicide forest.
You know, Bridlington is under-rated as a tourist spot.
