Insect Voyeurism

"Not another gratuitous fly sex shot" I hear you say, but take a look in large and gasp at the John Holmes of the fly world. That's gotta hurt!

Not an easy shot. The leaf was hanging by a spider web thread, spinning around continuously and hanging over the stream. To get as close as I could, I employed the technique that I used for the 'heavy jumping spider' by pushing the camera forward and looking through the viewfinder from a distance.

Not as close as I would have liked and sharpness was lost to the movement, but still enough detail to make your eyes water.
