Pears to the Rescue!

Not being overly endowed in the green finger department, it gives me great joy to see something that I've planted actually growing! The apples, though there's quite a lot of them, don't look too clever. We had about five cherries (which the birds had) and the tomatoes are doing their usual and ripening one at a time. No, Percy Thrower I may not be, but I do appreciate a nice pear.
