Today in my garden

During my absence, my neighbours have been tasting my apples. They both agreed it was the right time to pick them and for me, to bake apple pies. They informed me that they were looking forward to the start of my harvest. When I said that it was too hot to bake apple pies, when I handed over warm jars homemade apple sauce, they looked very disappointed. I 'm rather satisfied with the results of my first harvest day, though. There are still a lot of apples on the tree. A lot of apple sauce to make.
