There's always lots of waders in the Solway Firth estuary and Curlews are one of my favourites.  Believe it or not I haven't converted the blip to mono!  Port Carlisle is a good place to see them and you'll usually have the place to yourself.

Oh remember that horse I blipped in the estuary on Saturday, well it was mentioned on the local news this morning.  Apparently its a race horse called Baby Run or maybe Baby Rum?   In 2011 it won one of the races at the Grand National meeting!  I emailed them some photos.
