Not since mere days after moving in has the loft been this empty. Even the free shelves are down, if not actually removed from the loft, revealing the wall and at least a quarter of the available head-height space. Now that it's empty it should be easier to look at in terms of getting people in to stroke their chins and decide how to reconfigure the timber distribution to make it more suited to walking around in without having to duck out of the way of collar ties every stride.
