Not melting
This Autumn Snowflake, aka Acis autumnalis, always starts flowering here around this time. The first rain after a hot spell triggers growth, just as it does in it's homeland in the countries around the western Mediterranean. It's very happy in a sunny raised bed here, spreading by seed which will be ripe in a few weeks.
A lot of Narcissus bulbs sorted today. Many paper bags all lined up ready for re-planting. That's tomorrow's job.
Remembering my Dad whose anniversary is today. Please forgive my transgressing Blip protocol - an old pic in extras, taken at my 40th Birthday celebrations.
