When your mum's an artist, you better get your drawing of grass to perfection!

Another beautiful summers day. I nicked mum's bike and rode round the village to see Claire. Honestly, on that little bike ride I felt 14 again! A lovely catch up with Claire and the monkeys. Esme: super cute, girly but not so girly that she can't wrestle her little brother off the slide. Will: with cheeks that you just want to grab and a cheeky smile that will have everyone wrapped around his little finger. Love those kids.

Then an afternoon with the nephews while Nanny Jackie and Grandad Howard were out at a funeral of our old neighbour. A substantial amount of that time was spent walking to and playing at the playground. Then a little treasure hunt and some quiet time before NJ and GH got home.

A BBQ, obviously, and then home to be greeted by Becky who informs us that it's supposed to stay nice until October. Yes!
