Ziggy Stardust

Our family went off to visit friends at Budleigh Salterton and are staying the night there. Taking advantage of their absence, we waited until it was a bit cooler,  and about 6pm, we drove the short distance to the coast to give Ziggy a walk. It was really lovely at that time of day - there were still many people swimming in the sea and also folk "stand-up paddling" as well as dinghies and kayaks. We still couldn't entice Ziggy into the sea, and as soon as he spotted me at the top of the steps, he came racing back. 
One chap stopped us and asked what the dog's name was. When we told him "Ziggy" he rolled up his sleeve to reveal a tattoo of Ziggy Stardust. He seemed delighted to have found a dog with the same name as one of his tattoos - mind you he had quite a few to choose from (tattoos that is, not dogs!)
