Here’s to Monday

A lovely day. Took care of a couple of little jobs in the morning before heading to the beach. Took the kayak out for a spin as the gulf water was very calm. It’s actually the first time K and I have kayaked together. We looked like old pros, if I say so myself. Even paddled out to rescue someone’s errant flotation noodle, before it drifted off to Mexico. Then a while spent rotating between bobbing in the water and reading in the beach chair. I don’t recall many past Mondays like this. At least not yet!
