On the top of a mountain

Today boyfriend and I hired a car so we could go for an explore of the island.

The car rental place had run out of small cars so we ended up with a big beast of a car. I had a wee go at driving, my first time driving abroad! I wasn't very good at it though, changing gear just felt too unnatural. So boyfriend had to so most of the driving, he didn't mind though.

We drove up Mount Teide, which was amazing. It is quite a climb up to the top and it is very cold up there. It was 24C at the bottom of the mountain and only 7C at the top. The landscape up there is amazing, it looks like the moon!!
