Gifts from the garden

The figs are ripening, and G brought me some to enjoy smashed on my toast.  Yum!  This blip is for our daughter who really likes figs and for another blipper who also enjoys figs on toast with plenty of butter.  You know who you are!!  ;)
Not much time for photos today, so a quick blip.  I have to water all of the garden every second day and parts of it every day in this heat.  Green beans, cucumbers, salad greens, beets and onions all growing well.  The tomatoes are finally starting to ripen.  Our neighbour dropped by unexpectedly and it was nice to just sit, relax, and have coffee for a few hours.
