~Diablo Lake~

I took this same picture  8-26-2013. ( This was taken today) I don't know to link it to this page but it pretty much looks the same. This is what I wrote back then and it still can be applied in 2018. Check out the extra which shows a different view.

Diablo Lake
On our way home we stopped by Diablo Lake to stretch our legs. The unique, intense turquoise hue of the lake's water is attributed to the surrounding glaciers that grind rocks into a fine powder that is carried into the lake through creeks. That fine powder stays suspended in the lake, giving the water its brilliant color. A beautiful place to stop after a fun filled 4 days...
