No Extra Charge!

Visited Kyoto to join a lecture meeting on linguistics with one of my ex-colleagues. Even though Kyoto was extremely hot as we had expected, the city looked really nice as always; I couldn't believe I hadn't visited it for two years.

Captured this sign when we were about to get on a taxi. The sentence, No Extra Charge! made me wonder if there is a place where a charge is collected for making the staff communicate in a foreign language.

Although while in Kyoto I spotted quite a lot of English signs, this is the only sign I captured...I'd like to come to Kyoto again to collect lots of signs when it becomes cooler!
