Firework night.

The prom was rammed with spectators trying to get a good viewpoint of the show. I worked out that we could see the higher rockets from the front of the house over the trees. So I dragged out some chairs onto the grass and poured us a glass where we got the best of the display. 

I should have been better organised and gone down early with a tripod. But I hadn't got round to googling "Photographing Fireworks" anyway. Plus, it was seared tuna steaks for dinner so it was no contest really.
