You Came!

Late in the evening/night, when I had woken up and I couldn't get to sleep again, I realized why it is so rewarding to have pets.

At least when it comes to our cats, it is so easy and simple to please them and to make them happy. Once acquired, their trust and love towards me doesn't vary - I'm always good enough for them as long as they live.

It is not at all alike with humans.
