Gently down the stream

In night's shadow

This morning was another early one, though this time I only went down to Winnall Moors, a much shorter walk than Morn Hill.  That's where I met this little charmer, just before sunrise.  She was standing under dense low willow trees, literally still in night's shadow.  I was astonished the camera responded well enough to get any kind of picture at all!  But what irresistably beautiful animals deer are.

I think this looks stronger in mono, but for those of you who prefer, the colour version's in Extras.

Nothing else to say.  How could the rest of a fairly mundane Monday (that would be Tuesday, then, wouldn't it) possibly compete with this?

Happy Tuesday evening  xx
