Norwich Cathedral Cloisters

Just a small bit of Carol & I's lunchtime walk. We actually managed 2.25 miles, possibly because we were going out of our way to stay in the shade. A walk by the river to Cow Tower then back up through the cathedral cutting in to the cloisters. We've sort of stopped the hare hunt due to the heat, but when I stumble across one i have met before, I will share it with you. So there is a nice one in my extras today.

Nothing much else going on. Lots of work which meant starting early and I've just left at 5. Hope to do a bit more gardening tonight, to tidy mainly. I know how good the teasels are for the birds but my small garden is heaving with them, and now they are crisp & falling down, they attack me when I try to get near anything around them. Some I will leave, but some are coming out.

Apart from that, isn't there a storm predicted for Essex Suffolk and Norfolk? I can't see any sign of it yet, but fingers crossed we do get some rain tonight. That would be lovely.

Also sending speedy recovery wishes to a lovely young lady who was in my old team in Cambridge, who has had a major operation today. Thinking of her and her family. Get well soon x
