Herring Gull

Molly and I were walking with friends at Fisherrow, Musselburgh today. As it was raining when I left I didn't take the camera so, needless to say, saw something worth photographing! 
This young herring gull was wandering around part of the car park on its own. Didn't seem too perturbed by our presence so managed to get a fairly reasonable phone blip.
It's markings are quite stunning.
