Heat Exhaustion

I think some of my flowers are beginning to show signs of heat exhaustion.... The main displays are over now in my garden, just a couple of flowers still on show. Its felt very hot today, not necessarily hotter than it has been, but a kind of stifling temperature, that seems to still and dull everything. 

Another busy day at work with a few frustrations. Sometimes life requires that we look at things, and realise we have to put our efforts where we get the most benefit, not in having everything perfectly aligned. A bit like the person who wants a spotless desk but because of that, never has a pen - because they always look out of place. 

Back across late afternoon for a screening appointment. There is something about life that can be measured in terms of which screening appointments you are called for. I suppose the benefit is in the peace of mind when you get the all clear, or the early interventions for those who do not. 

Hoping to make significant progress on one of the open reports tomorrow.
