Shark Roundabout

Cox’s Bazaar in Bangladesh is a very poor area but with its long beach (claims to be the longest in the world) it is also a top destination for holidaying Bangladeshi - well outside of the monsoon season that is. One of its quirkier features is the Shark Roundabout known locally as the Dolphin Roundabout. Cars and TomToms go round this any way they like, and we go past it every morning from hotel to office. At first I thought it showed a shark giving birth. This trip I learned that it actually shows shark genitalia in the pre-copulation state. Why on earth anyone would do that on a major Roundabout I can’t imagine....
