Last day at the hotel care home. Back to the beach (we sneaked out in a laundry truck). Still hot, but getting fresher. Tomorrow we plan to leave and head home, we decided to avoid the 'moose of freedom' and go for the glider we have been building on the roof.

We are very excited and looking forward to the sumptuous display of continuous roadworks between Bristol and Manchester. They are building a Smart Motorway! Unfortunately they are using very stupid roadworks to achieve whatever a Smart Motorway is.

The wee break, despite initial reservations, has been really great. Faultless accommodation, great setting, superb country walks, food was amazing, enjoyable activities, friendly staff, and “entertainment” which was entirely new to me. The weather however was far too hot for comfort, but I'd take that over rain on holiday. As a bonus the bar had great beers and a very generous happy hour (buy your evening dinner wine at the happy hour then take it to your table! Result.)

What have I learned? Never underestimate seniors, oh, and Yeovil is a dump.
