A London day!
So the 121 class with Emma N didn't quite happen for one reason or another, but she said she would meet us at Pineapple to look at C in her pointe shoes. So that's what we did, after a trip to Capezio for leather fullsoles for the Royal Ballet in September.
Emma looked at C in the shoes, bent them slightly, showed me where I needed to move the ribbons too and what to do with the sheepskins. She then gave C strict instructions only to roll up on to pointe in parallel and to practice that and that only until she sees her again. Carys is happy with that.
We then went to Bloch for a bag she had seen and while we were there she picked up a beautiful royal blue leotard for summer school.
After a sandwich lunch in Covent Garden we visited the Disney Lion King/Aladdin pop up. She joined in the Aladdin bitesize song and dance, had her photo taken with the lamp and did the lamp trail to be rewarded with a double sided signed poster of Aladdin/Lion King. I enjoyed seeing the costumes close up.
Onward to her pilates 121. She worked really hard and has definitely grown as she was tall enough for the reformer, which was much harder than she anticipated. Back to KC, picnic tea by the canal at Granary Square before getting the train home.
Will meanwhile had tennis this morning and swimming at teatime. He's had a good day too.
