Odd One Out
So today was results day, and 3 of these people received good news, the other received good news about the other 3. Do we need a Venn diagram? Ok, I was the odd one out... and I am glad about that, I don't do studying no more.
Mrs C had attempted to pass an exam she had failed way back in nineteen canteen and did it. With one class a week and studying in her own time (time she should have spent making sure I was living the life of riley - joking!) the hard work paid off. I am sure it is harder to do that now than then. Well done Mrs C, next up? Oh yeah, Riley etc...
Ms H was under some pressure to get good enough results to go to Uni and that she did. She now has more highers than either of us and better results. Although she didn't get her first choice, she got her second and is happy with that. For us, 1st choice meant her moving some distance from us, and being an only child, that might have been difficult for us but we would have sucked it up. 2nd choice is almost on her doorstep... which may have explained her reasoning for the 1st choice! Anyway, it looks to be an interesting course with a number of different career opportunities. Well done Ms H, we're all really proud of you!
And finally Mr A, not only his first appearance on blip but exams passed too. To celebrate I took them all out for a meal and a film... and a wee walk round the castle in the evening sun.
