Forest Fires

There have been raging forest fires in California this summer, and the effects have been felt all over Oregon. Today we had a smoky ride to Sunriver, and lots of construction work on the way. We were stopped here for some time so I got out of our car and snapped a picture of the remains of a forest fire that went through here several years ago. It's a different kind of beauty for sure.
Grateful today for....the quiet of Sunriver.
