And So The Dawn

There was much thrashing about this morning as The Boss tried to find his tripod without turning the lights on. He ended up using his iPhone as a torch.
We went out with the Churton Park walkers and discovered that since Wellington had “upgraded” its bus system things had changed so we elected to take an earlier one which was late anyway to get some adjustment time if things went wrong. The route was different and we found ourselves going what we thought was backwards but finally a sorta familiar building loomed on the horizon and The Boss asked the lady driver if it was a supermarket and got yes. He said it had been a confusing ride and she answered “You and me both” and laughed. Getting back would have involved 2 busses but thanks to his friends he got a train. They have rails you kno so cant get you so confused.
The group (extra) staggered up 45 floors and about 10 Km and he also had to walk home from the railway station....sigh.
